Meet Eric Avery
A Spokane native and Lewis and Clark High School graduate, Eric played at Everett Community College (NWAACC All-Star) before being recruited to Whitworth University, where he earned a B.A. in Kinesiology in 2004. He then played three professional seasons in Germany, leading his teams in points, assists, and steals. Today, Eric runs EA Hoops with 18+ years of skill-development experience — coaching athletes who've competed in the NBA, WNBA, D-League/G League, CBA, NCAA National Championship programs, and European professional leagues. His training is accountability-based and built around detail, instruction, education, and real playing experience — not just drills. Every session is designed to help players understand why they're doing something so the work translates directly into game performance.
